Seahawks Training Camp - 1998

Back to Home Next Page

On July 27, 1998 I attended the Seahawks training camp at Cheney, Washington just to see what it was like. My friend Tom drove because his car has working A/C. So off we went in the near 100 degree heat to see how the pros get ready for the season.

The first thing we did when we got there (about a half hour early) was to pick up a copy of the training camp program, pictured at right. Just click on the program to see what the team looked like on that afternoon and a couple weeks later when I went back with some more friends. Except for busting a good pair of binoculars when the neck strap broke and they made a quick trip to asphalt, the whole time was a real blast - even getting so dehydrated that I was about ready to run out onto the field and try to get away with the water jug!

Here are a couple of the guys I went with.

A note on the pictures - I'm no photographer, and it shows.
