Hi There! My name is Tim Douglass and I am a Missionary Pastor with Village Missions currently serving the Lord as pastor of the Tumalo Community Church in Tumalo, Oregon. My wife Barb and I became Village Missionaries in the Fall '98 and I served as the interim pastor at the Cusick Community Church in Cusick, WA from October 1998 into February 1999. We were placed on our first full-time field at Roberts, Idaho in May of 1999. In January, 2002 we moved to Tumalo to work with the church here. In my life prior to becoming a missionary pastor I was a computer programmer/software engineer/system administrator/general dogsbody for a small software company in Spokane, Washington.
Our family currently consists of my wife Barb and myself and our 4 boys, who range in age from 20 to 14. See the photo gallery for a family picture. Send me mail at:The Cross and the Lily are both used as symbols of Jesus Christ. The cross is to remind us of the sacrifice that He made so that we might all be saved. The lily is a symbol of the purity of Christ. I created the image from a WordPerfect clip art of the lily combined with a cross that I hand drew in Ulead Photo Impact. I then applied an emboss effect, reduced the contrast and lightened the image to make text readable in front of it and did a bit of moving around of the image to create the appropriate overlap for the tile. This is my first effort at doing something of this type, so I'm a bit surprised with how well it worked out.
