After all that work, when the final drills were being run, the guys started to get rid of some of the extras, like pads. All you have to do is look at how soaked their shirts are and you know that they weren't exactly loafing around out there! |
| And when the final whistle blew a bunch of very short fans came out to see if they could get autographs. Most of the players were more than willing to accomodate them, some staying quite a while and not only signing stuff, but actually talking with the kids. I really admire guys like Chad Brown and Todd Peterson who treated the kids like real humans while signing autographs. | |
